Jiří Malkus becomes the new CEO of LASSELSBERGER, s.r.o. on 1 January 2026
There will be a change in the top management of LASSELSBERGER, s.r.o. on 1 January 2026. Mr. Jiří Malkus will take over as the company’s CEO, assuming responsibility for the business administration and further strategic development of the company. He will replace Mr. Roman Blažíček, who has contributed significantly to the growth and strengthening of the company's position on the domestic and foreign markets during his more than twenty years with the company. The change has been carefully prepared: Mr. Jiří Malkus has been a member of LASSELSBERGER’s team since September 2025. Mr. Roman Blažíček will continue to work for the LASSELSBERGER Group, representing its interests in the formation of the legislation underpinning the energy-intensive industry.
Jiří Malkus brings a wealth of experience he has gained working for major companies in the Czech Republic and abroad; he is a recognised expert in transforming companies, improving their performance, introducing automation and process digitalisation. In his new role, he and his team will focus on the long-term development of the manufacturing plants, strengthening partner relationships and the continued growth of the company.
"I am honoured to be part of the Lasselsberger family — a company with a rich history, strong values and a clear vision where people are the key pillar of success. I believe in the power of collaboration, building mutual trust and achieving the common goals with a positive attitude and energy. I will focus on the long-term strategic development of the company, innovation of RAKO products, continuous improvement of operational efficiency and creating an environment that boosts the growth, motivation and professional development of our employees," says Jiří Malkus.
"RAKO is a strong brand with a deep tradition and an excellent market position. Our goal is to develop its potential and continue to strengthen our position at home and abroad," he adds.
