A thorough post-building cleaning

If you have moved in to a new apartment recently or you have restored a bathroom, you may be tilting at windmills. If there was no proper post-building cleaning, the dirt sticks in your bathroom even stronger. The surface basically works as dirt-magnet.

Whereas once we dealt with the residue jointing materials with no problems using vinegar watter, this is not possible for modern materials. If we do not use special cleaners to remove residual cement, we can find some microlayers of those there years after,“  Tomáš Lindauer warns.

How do I find out, if the post-building cleaning was done correctly?

We pour the cleaner RAKO CL 802, or another acid cleaner with pH ca 1,5, into an atomizer and spray it onto the surface of a ceramic wall or floor tile. If it reacts, fizz a little bit, it means the post-building cleaning must be done,“ Tomáš Lindauer for RAKO SYSTEM advise.

RAKO CL 802 for post-building cleaning

In case of a wrong post-building cleaning, with time it comes to an increasing pollution of the ceramic surface due to the unwashed microlayer of cement. The RAKO CL 802 achieves great results right after the first use, it acts effectively on residual cement, white wash after painting, cement haze, magnesium and mineral sediments (rust and water or urinal scale).
