New freshness for the Spa Hotel Alexander

5.000 square meters of tiles by manufacturer Rako

A luxurious ambience is what characterizes the Spa Hotel Alexander in the Slovakian city of Bad Bardějov. Underlined will be the high standard of the extensively renovated living and wellness areas. Overall 75 hotel rooms as well as the fitness area inculding saunas, hot tubs and tepidarium got a modern redesign.

Series "Rock" is what those responsible for the bathroom areas in the guest rooms have decided for. Matte, light beige wall and floor tiles in the format 30x60 cm as well as dark grey mosaics were combined here. In the completely modernized relaxation rooms, which are accessible by all guests, Rako series "Unistone" was used in a black and grey version. Stylishly the decorators combined the different formats from 2,5 x 2,5 cm small mosaics (especially for curves in walls and seating areas) up to 60x60 cm large formats for walls and floors.

Both series are made from the particularly resilient, dyed-through material "Gres Porcellanato Smaltato“. The wide selection of colours and module dimensions predestinates these programmes for the widest range of applications, especially in public and semi-public areas. Also slip-resistant and extremely resilient is the series "Taurus Industrial" by Rako, which was selected for the renewal of the kitchen floor. The 20x20 cm large formats are specifically made to meet the requirements of the production and processing areas.

Bad Bardějov

The spa Bad Bardějov in Eastern Slovakia already got its first written mention in the year 1247. In the first half of the 18th century it experienced a remarkable upswing and since 1895 it can pride itself on having accommodated Austrian Empress Elisabeth, called Sissi. Today the town centre belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage. Eight mineral springs are used for drinking cures and are supposed to have a beneficient effect on the circulation, digestive system, kidneys and respiratory tract.
