RAKO OBJECT ceramic tiles in the swimming pool area are complemented by some well done pieces by a ceramist Gustav Fifka from Klatovy.
A holiday atmosphere of a capricious summer, like the one in the Vančura´s novel, that is what you will experience at the swimming pool in Klatovy, not only due to its optimism and peace. White tiling complemented by a deep red mosaic looks modern and clean and at the same time, this combination resembles the striped retro swimwear from the turn of the past century.
During the reconstruction and extention, the premises of the swimming pool in Klatovy were complemented with a fun and wellness zone. The whole ceramic tiling were supplied the Czech brand RAKO. For the swimming pool in Klatovy, the architect chose glazed ceramic anti-slip RAKO OBJECTS tiles from the Color Two series. It offers not only the classic format tiles, but also mosaics, all of them in the so called module version, that enables mutual troublefree combination.
The minimalist appearance of the wall tiling is animated by a hand-made decoration of ceramist Gustav Fifka. There are four genre groups of figures during sport games with historical overtones. The three groups resembling the first three seasons are placed on the front wall and the last one – swimmers – on the adjacent wall.
The combination of the technical perfection modern RAKO tiling and hand-crafted work of art provides the interior with uniqueness and a peaceful atmosphere, that public pools often lack.
